The Cure, by Richard Jagger (our Commodore) has now been published and is available on Amazon
Rumours that the Club Opening was only organised as an opportunity to flog his outstanding new thriller have been denied by his publicist, Simon Corden. However, Mr Corden did note that all stocks of the books available on the night were sold out, which may be a sign of things to come - move over J.K. Rowling.
Richard has also generously agreed to donate $1 of every sale to the club (after the first 10,000 copies) so if we can only sell another 9,980 copies, the club will be clover. (update - now only need to sell 9,960 as copies are selling like books)
Anyway, buy a copy yourself, either directly from Richard (for $22) or through Amazon. And watch out for the book reading in the club house over summer, the book club evening where we can get together and critique his novel over the summer.
